Lab Exercise 2: Attaching AWS EBS VOLUME TO AMAZON EC2

 In the dashboard head over to Elastic Block storage and click on volumes




Click on create volume


give appropriate details about your storage and then click create



Once the block is created, we have to attach it to one of the EC2 instance.




Now from actions tab click on attach volume



select the instance to which to want to connect then click on attach volume.

now in the volumes dashboard, you may the the EC2 instance to which you have connected this volume


 In instances dashboard as well, you may see the storage EBS attached to the instance.

 Setting up Replication in S3 Bucket Steps:- 1. Go to aws console for S3 bucket and select the bucket you want to replicate. 2. go to management tab and click on create replication rule. 3. Give name to replication rule 4. Apply rule to all objects in this bucket. 5. Create a new IAM role. 6. Choose another bucket replicate to. 7. Click on save 8. Enable versioning for this bucket. 9. Set job settings. Uncheck completion report. 10. The replication job was completed. 11. Replication rule was successfully set on bucket.
